Verasig, partener ICAR Forum 2015

Intr-un raport de sinteza realizat de Panelul Interguvernamental privind Schimbarile Climatice al Organizatiei Natiunilor Unite, se arata ca schimbarile climatice si fenomenele meteo extreme, din ce in ce mai frecvente si severe vor necesita masuri proactive de adaptare sau de dezvoltare a capacitatii de adaptare, iar costul adaptarii la schimbarile climatice se va ridica intre 70-100 miliarde USD in fiecare an pana in 2050.

In acest context, pe 1 octombrie, a avut loc la Bucuresti, Forumul International al Riscurilor Catastrofale – ICAR 2015, ajuns la cea de-a XII-a editie, la care Verasig Broker de Asigurare a fost partener.

Temele discutate in cadrul evenimentului au analizat atat impactul, cat si consecintele modificarii climei in domeniul agricol, riscurile si oportunitatile industriei de re/asigurari in contextul schimbarilor climatice si efectul asupra aspectelor operationale in cadrul companiilor de asigurari.

Forumul International al Riscurilor Catastrofale – ICAR 2015, a reunit specialisti importanti din domeniul re/asigurarilor, profesionisti care activeaza pe segmentul modelarii riscurilor catastrofale, precum si reprezentanti ai autoritatilor si asociatiilor regionale si nationale.

In a summary report conducted by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change of the United Nations,, shows that climate change and extreme weather events, increasingly more frequent and more severe, will require proactive changes to adapt or to develop the adapting capacity, and the cost of adaptation to climate change will increase by USD 70 – 100 billion each year until 2050.

In this context, on October 1, in Bucharest took place The International Catastrophic Risks Forum – ICAR 2015, reached its XII Edition, where Verasig Insurance Broker was partner.

The topics discussed at the event analyzed both impact impact and consequences of climate change on agriculture, re/insurance industry risks and opportunities in the context of climate change and its effects on operational issues within insurance companies.

The International Catastrophic Risks Forum – ICAR 2015 brought together leading specialists in the re / insurance, professionals that activate on catastrophic risk modelling segment, as well as representatives of regional and national associations.
